Privacy Policy
How Families 4 Families collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us. This policy applies to visitors of families4families.cc and people interacting with us through our forms, donation processing, and email communications.
What we collect
F4F collects information you provide directly through forms on this site, and limited analytics data automatically.
Information you provide directly
- Name, email, and phone (contact forms, newsletter signups, info session registration)
- Mailing address (donations, communications, foster care inquiries)
- Church affiliation and county (foster care inquiries — used to route you to your regional office)
- Donation information (processed through our donor management platform; we do not store credit card numbers on our servers)
- Any additional information you choose to share in inquiry forms or correspondence
Information collected automatically
- Standard web analytics (pages visited, time on site, referring source, general location)
- Cookies for session management and user preferences
How we use it
Direct communications. We respond to your inquiries, send newsletters you’ve subscribed to, follow up on info session registrations, and acknowledge your donations.
Routing and support. Contact information is routed to the appropriate regional office or staff member based on what you’re inquiring about. Foster care inquiries are routed by county and region; donor inquiries to our finance and leadership team.
Donation processing and acknowledgment. Donations are processed through Kindful (Bloomerang), our donor management platform. We retain donation records as required by IRS regulations and to send year-end giving summaries.
Service improvement. Analytics data helps us understand which pages are useful, where visitors get stuck, and what information we should make more visible.
Legal compliance. We may retain information as required by our Council on Accreditation (COA) standards, state foster care licensing requirements, or applicable federal and state law.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your information to third parties.
- We do not share your information with other foster care agencies, churches, or partners without your consent.
- We do not store donation card numbers on our servers.
- We do not use your information for advertising targeting on third-party platforms.

- Email service provider — newsletter and email communications
- Form processor — contact and inquiry form handling
- Hosting provider — site hosting
- The Events Calendar (TEC) — event management
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing the data we share with them.
Children’s privacy
F4F serves children in Georgia’s foster care system, but this website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through the site.
If you are a foster family or family member supporting a child in foster care and need to discuss the child’s information with us, that information is handled through our case management processes — not through this public website — and is protected by foster care confidentiality requirements set by Georgia DFCS and our COA accreditation standards.
