About Us
Our story
Families 4 Families + The Naugle Family
I’m Wayne Naugle, the CEO and founder of Families 4 Families. My wife, Kelli, and I are blessed with seven children—five biological and two adopted through foster care. Our journey has taken us through home compliance, court dates, caseworkers, and adoption challenges. Between those milestones are countless days of both joy and difficulty.
Our experience gave us a deep understanding of how this path impacts the entire family. That understanding is the heart of Families 4 Families. Supporting families through this process is our mission, and we’re committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.
Kelli and I would love to meet you and hear about the direction God may be guiding you. Sharing our story and the ways we’ve seen His hand at work might offer encouragement for your journey. Together, we can reflect, connect, and find strength in the path ahead.

Our story begins on May 6, 2012.
That day, after completing our home study and becoming an approved foster family, we received a life-changing call. A newborn baby girl had been abandoned behind a dumpster in Atlanta’s Five Points area. We came together as a family without hesitation and said, “Yes.” We brought her home and cared for her as she recovered from drug exposure, malnourishment, and seizures.
A year later, as we began discussing adoption, another call came. This time, it was about another abandoned newborn. To our amazement, she was the half-sister of the baby girl we had welcomed just a year earlier. Once again, we opened our hearts and homes to her, embracing the opportunity to grow our family. These moments shaped our journey and the purpose behind what we do today.
A Year Later, on April 8, 2014
Adoption day marked a life-changing milestone as our two baby girls officially became Abbie and Ashlie Naugle. That day was filled with joy and hope, but it also deepened our awareness of the challenges many children face in Georgia.
Their stories and the harsh realities revealed through the statistics profoundly impacted us. We left our jobs and committed full-time to helping children like Abbie and Ashlie. We witnessed God’s presence in ways we never imagined throughout this journey. Connecting with the girls’ birth mother, who had aged out of foster care on Atlanta’s streets, and seeing the girls meet their half-siblings for the first time were moments of grace and transformation. Each step strengthened our purpose and deepened our commitment to this calling.
Our Personal Journey Brought Families 4 Families to Life in 2017
Our journey led to Families 4 Families in 2017, born from a deep desire to make a difference. We strive to connect God-loving families with children in need, offering support and hope to those navigating the challenges of foster care.
Some children will find their way back to their biological families, while others will be adopted into new ones. Through it all, we trust God’s love and plan for each child’s future. We invite you to be part of this mission, letting God work through your story as we walk this path together.
Our Vision
That every child would be in a loving family connected to the local church.
Our Mission
Connecting local churches with faith-based families to offer hope and restoration to children and families involved in Georgia's foster care system.

Position on Morality
Families 4 Families upholds a set of principles aimed at fostering ethical conduct and positive role modeling for the children entrusted to our care. These principles reflect the values we aim to instill in the lives we touch and ensure that every child grows in an environment rooted in love, respect, and integrity.
- Marriage, as we believe, is a sacred union sanctioned by God. It is defined as the exclusive joining of one man and one woman, reflecting the design set forth in Scripture.
- We affirm that all forms of sexual immorality are contrary to God’s teachings and fall outside the principles we uphold as a community of faith.
- Every person deserves compassion, kindness, and respect. Behaviors or attitudes rooted in hate or harassment toward others are unequivocally rejected. Such actions stand in opposition to Scripture and the core doctrines of the church.

What is a Private Agency?
Families 4 Families operates as a Private Foster Care Agency. Understanding what this means and how it differs from fostering through your local county is key to making an informed decision.
‘’A Private Foster Care Agency is licensed through the State of Georgia to place children in foster homes. These agencies adhere to rigorous state standards for approving foster families. A foster family must receive state approval before any child is placed in their care.’’
When a child enters foster care, the county where the case originated retains custody and begins the process of finding a suitable home. This includes evaluating local county foster homes and collaborating with nearby Private Agencies to ensure the best possible placement for the child.
Choosing to foster through a Private Agency like Families 4 Families offers unique benefits. Our families receive special services, including monthly date nights, ongoing educational resources, and access to support groups. We also provide essential items for foster children to ease transitions. Each family is assigned a dedicated caseworker with a smaller caseload, ensuring personalized attention and support. Additionally, families have the flexibility to accept placements from any nearby county, expanding opportunities to help children in need.
As you reflect on your fostering journey, consider the differences and opportunities. Whether you choose a Private Agency like ours or decide to work directly with your local county, we are excited to support you on this meaningful path. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of children.
