Is Families 4 Families Right For You?

At Families 4 Families, we believe fostering is a calling best lived out in community. That’s why we partner with Georgia churches to wrap around our families with prayer, resources, and encouragement. If these values resonate with you, you’re the kind of family we’d love to support in this journey.

You’re active in your local church and eager to serve with its support.

You share our Christian faith and commitment to live out your biblical values.

You feel called to open your home to children in need with love and compassion.

The Foster Care Process

Our foster care process ensures every step is clear, supportive, and focused on helping you create a loving home for children. We provide comprehensive guidance, ensuring you feel confident and prepared.

Step 1: Information Session

Join a virtual info session to learn about fostering, meet our team, and connect with others starting the journey.

Step 2: Letter of Intent

After the session, submit a letter of intent to begin your journey with Families 4 Families. It helps us understand your goals and support your path.

Step 3: Onboarding

After your intent is confirmed, an onboarding consultant will guide you, answer any questions, and support you through the initial steps.

Step 4: Home Study

Your home study consultant guides you through a review of your home, family, and readiness to foster—focusing on preparation, not perfection.

Step 5: Training

Our trauma-informed training, based on TBRI, prepares you to support children with challenging pasts by building trust and creating a nurturing environment.

Step 6: Home Open

Once approved, your home is officially licensed—marking the start of your foster journey. Your consultant will help with final prep so you feel ready.
