ROOM C-306

Topic: Teens in Foster Care
Speaker: Pam Parish

Pam Parish is the author of the Ready or Not book series for foster and adoptive parents and she is also the mom of seven daughters, six of whom were adopted. All of her adopted daughters were adopted as teens and she has over ten years of experience parenting teens from hard places. She also founded Connections Homes, a non-profit that connects young adults who’ve aged out of foster care to families who can walk alongside them and guide them to a successful future.

Pam will speak about some of the challenges they’ve faced in their years of parenting teens and offer advice on how to parent teens from hard places well. This CEU will be helpful not only for parents of teens in foster care, but also parents of teens in general.
